Denise was born and raised here in Perth. She has held numerous Food & Beverage positions within the Hospitality Industry from the age of sixteen.
Denise has a Degree in Business Management from Edith Cowan University, where she majored in Human Resource Management and Tourism Management.
Having come from a dedicated hotel background, Denise spent nine years at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth. During this time, Denise was a Food & Beverage Attendant in many of the Restaurants and Bars, worked with the In-Room Dining, Functions and Banquets Departments, as well as being a Beverage Attendant in a Cocktail Lounge with the knowledge of over 100 spectacular Cocktails. Most recently, she held the senior role of Food & Beverage Supervisor in the Atrium Restaurant with a seating capacity of over 600 diners!
Having left Burswood in November 2007 to join our Team here at hospitalitybiz, Denise’s first assignment was that of Human Resources Officer at the Rendezvous Observation City Hotel in Scarborough. Here, her major focus was on recruitment of line and supervisory staff across all Departments, as well as playing an integral role in assisting the Human Resources Manager in the lead up to the scheduled close of the hotel for redevelopment and refurbishment.
Denise returned to the hospitalitybiz Office - Joondalup as one of our team of friendly Recruitment Consultants in June 2008, and will make an invaluable contribution to the strategic planning and development of our established Temporary Solutions Division, in Perth and across Western Australia. She specialises in providing dedicated and personalised recruitment services, matching the very best of our candidates to some of the most dynamic opportunities available in Hospitality today.
