Jetelle Bailye – Human Resources Consultant, Perth

Jetelle has over ten years of experience in Human Resources and Employee Relations.  She has extensive experience in recruitment and selection, as well as strategic HR planning in both the private and public sectors, and has experience recruiting candidates at various levels in a variety of industries, including hospitality.   Jetelle has worked mostly in Australia, but brings with her experience from both the USA and the UK, in the hospitality and legal industries.   Jetelle has acquired a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Curtin University.

Most recently, Jetelle has been employed as a HR Consultant to various government agencies, providing advice on a range of recruitment issues.   Prior to this, Jetelle was involved in working with line managers on mining maintenance projects in the Pilbara, and organising large recruitment drives to fill various positions from blue collar to management.   The role also involved extensive HR and IR planning, and writing detailed HR Planning reports which were deliverable to clients such as BHP.   Jetelle was also responsible for organising training, verifying competencies and organising AWA’s.

In addition, Jetelle has been involved in graduate recruitment, grievance dispute resolution, and counselling.  She has also been responsible for reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures, from travel policies to recruitment processes.

As well as her expertise in recruitment, Jetelle has experience working in various other areas of HR.   As part of her involvement with performance reviews and management she has experience compiling a training needs analysis to assist management in determining training requirements for their staff. She has also been responsible for reviewing staff position descriptions and conducting performance reviews and is also able to provide advice on any HRIS matters.
